Maggie Siviter

 

Maggie Siviter DipSW, CertMS: Director at Independent For Children - Maggie qualified as a social worker in 1992 after reaching senior management within the children’s residential care sector.

 

Her primary experience has been in the field of Child Protection and, more recently, Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO)/Child Protection conference chair and as a Strategic Manager for Safeguarding.

 

Maggie's more recent positions have included Head of Service for a large city, service manager for child protection and review for a London borough and single line manager for 16 IROs in a West Midlands authority.

 

She is a skilled risk assessor with the rare ability to understand risk across the spectrum; from an individual child’s perspective to the way complex strategic multi-agency and corporate environments deliver children’s services.

 

Maggie also has significant experience of the third sector, within the child protection sphere - NSPCC and NCH, and has the ability to understand the safeguarding environment from a multi-agency perspective.

 

She is currently a visiting lecturer on the IRO PQ (post qualifying) course for the University of Birmingham. 

 

Maggie also founded the charity, Martha Care, which is a hospital based support and advice service for families when their child is admitted with a serious illness or injury and has supported over 500 families to date.

 

 

 

Kenneth Gough: Health & Safety Consultant - After completing a full career in the Royal Air Force, Ken embarked on a professional Health & Safety career utilizing the many valuable skills and experiences that he had acquired throughout his service.

 

A former Safety Engineer for Dytecna Whole Life Support Group where he was a Safety Engineer on the MOD Falcon Project, a secure deployable broadband voice, data and video communication system. 

 

Ken's main skills lay with Management of Health & Safety, the production of safety case reports and documentation, Internal and External Safety Audits and ILS inclusive of COMAH, MACR, IOSH, ALARP, COSHH, Explosives Safety Management.

 

 

 

Neil Briscombe: Director at Expedient Technology Solutions Ltd - 3 projects of particular note that Neil led are: D3C, ESII and DMAC. D3C (‘Dependable, Dynamic Distributed Computing’ a £1M for UK MOD) developed novel security and risk management software tools for complex, mixed-trust, policy based networked computer systems.

 

Neil's work in Enabling Secure Information Infrastructure’s produced the first set of software tools for coalition forces to plan collaborative environments in theatre.

 

This project was used successfully as a basis for innovation funds from the UK Government’s Chief Scientist for a further project the ‘Data Mining Across Compartments’ (DMAC) project. This project was sponsored by the Counter Terrorism Centre and its outputs were used to define future multi-level security capabilities for the military intelligence community.

 

 

 

Dr Sukhdev Gill MBA FIET: CEO at LexiconP Limited - Sukhdev (Dev) Successful and experienced senior manager, who has managed challenging projects, has the ability to influence stakeholders and formulate initiatives, understand the implications & the pay off, and have a track record of successful implementation and delivery.

 

Planned, developed, and executed strategy both for £50M business units and £300M business sectors and coached business units in strategy development.

 

An excellent communicator and presenter with an analytical mind to think strategically, set targets, monitor progress and deliver.

 

Dev lives and breathes hockey, is a Veteran England International player and has managed the National Veterans’ team. He is currently the Chairman of Barford Tigers Hockey Club and a member of the England Hockey committee.

Bob Brotchie: Managing Director at Anglia Counselling Ltd. Bob is a former Senior Paramedic and has been delivering within Primary Health-Care for more than two decades.

 

Following an award winning career, including three years as a HEMS medic, and many years as a manager and project lead, Bob has retrained, and is now delivering counselling and psychotherapy services for adults and children with cognitive and behavioural needs from his private practice near Newmarket, Suffolk.

 

Bob isn't your ‘usual’ therapist; he isn't a cold academic and isn't into long uncomfortable silences. When you work with Bob, he is in your corner, offering warm, unconditional support and practical strategies.

  

A demonstrable innovative streak, in 2004/05, Bob, through dedication and hard work, designed and delivered the concept to market, that is, I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) and which is now successfully used all over the world. As a result of his success within innovation, Bob is regularly asked to consult for start-up companies around the world. He has recently been appointed Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) Ambassador for Schools in Suffolk where he mentors school age children.

 

 

 

Sonya Palasiuk: Owner of LeanOnUs - Sonya, a former Civil Servant who created a successful global online community. LeanOnUs provides a platform for individuals, causes and businesses who are working hard to better humanity. 

 

Through its members, it provides support and services such as counselling, psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, transformation coaching, motability advice, gas safety, product safety, consumer rights, child protection, legal advice, free teleconferences (specifically Lyme Disease but includes chronic pain), insurance policy claims advice and support, children’s workshops, interventions, parenting advice (moms and dads), graphic and website design, live radio shows, speakers bureau as well as marketing and social media services.

 

 

Neil James

 

Neil James: Director at NSJ Technical Training and contracting to Centiant International and Centerprise International as Head of Training. Neil designs and develops training in order to assist the UK and NATO Defence solution for Mission Configurable information services.

 

He is experienced at project managing networks and wireless education roll outs. He is a member of the Sherwood Forest Therapy Register UK and has liaised with schools and colleges to supply network infrastructure and managing the roll out of new network systems to the public education sector.

 

Finally, Neil authors and delivers technical publications and training manuals. He has developed technical publications for the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury. He is currently studying for his exams in Social Science.

 

 

Kay Irvine

 

Ms Kay Irvine: Director at Kachina Coaching Ltd - Kay is a training specialist with over 18 years of experience at working with private businesses, social enterprises and the education sector.

 

Her clients have included The Prince’s Trust, Leicester University, Leicester CAN (Community Action Network) to name but a few. Kay has also provided counselling services to Juniper Lodge Rape Crisis Centre.
